Once home to renowned Australian artist Ken Done’s showroom and retail store, 34 Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise, has hit the market.
While the 864sqm building was once home to Ken Done’s store during the 90s and early 2000s, the building is now used as a retail and office precinct comprising 10 tenancies.
Ray White Commercial Gold Coast agents Scott Wells and Brad Merkur have been appointed to market the property on behalf of Ken Done.

Now in his early 80s, Ken Done’s business is mostly based in Sydney, and his son Oscar Done said it was time to sell the Orchid Avenue building.
“It was an important part of our family’s retail business for a long time,” Mr Done said.
“There’s certainly some history there, but we’re not often on the Gold Coast so I’d rather see someone purchase it who has the energy and means to do something great with it.
“Ken is still busy painting and has just finished some great work with the Vivid festival here in Sydney.
“He has a gallery show on the Gold Coast coming up in November.”
Mr Wells said the market was strong for freehold office and retail investments within Surfers Paradise.
“These assets are tightly held and do not come to market often within this precinct,” he said.
