Experienced industrial expert strengthens Ray White Commercial Gold Coast team

The team at Ray White Commercial Gold Coast has been strengthened as powerhouse industrial expert Pat Cavanagh joins the business.

Mr Cavanagh joins the business with more than 22 years’ experience working in commercial real estate. Originally from Sydney, Mr Cavanagh moved to the Gold Coast in 1994, initially working in his previous profession as a carpenter and builder.

He started his career in real estate in 2000 with a small boutique agency in the Springwood/Underwood area then shifted his focus to the Gold Coast market.

“My focus has always been on the industrial precincts of the GC where I saw a gap in the market early on,” Mr Cavanagh said.

“I began to specialise in industrial and have enjoyed continued success within the Gold Coast markets.”

After a 12 month break in his career, Mr Cavanagh decided Ray White Commercial Gold Coast was the perfect place to dive back into the market.

“Since finishing up at my former role I continued to field calls from clients to service their industrial needs. So, after a year out of the market, I decided it was time to jump back in with a pipeline of clients and property deals to work with.

“I was impressed with Ray White Commercial Gold Coast’s Luke Boulden’s approach as a commercial team leader with the direction he was taking the commercial  business, as well as their new corporate approach and collaboration as a national brand, whilst also being a locally focused agency.

“This provides  more flexibility in dealing with my clients. As an independent contractor to the Ray White Group, they offered me total flexibility, a well structured business and known brand with opportunity for further growth.”

Mr Boulden welcomed Mr Cavanagh to the team.

“We are very excited to welcome Pat to our RWC Gold Coast team,” he said.

“Pat has been a prominent figure in the industry for over 22 years.

“With his extensive experience and dedication to the industrial sector, combined with our existing team of specialists, this appointment will undoubtedly strengthen our position in the Gold Coast industrial market.”

When he’s not busy helping his clients with their industrial property needs, Mr Cavanagh likes to work on his physical and mental health, working out about four times a week with a men’s training group

“Maintaining physical and mental health is a crucial aspect for me, it allows me continued growth and development,” he said.

“You can never sit still and rest on your past as there are always competitors nipping at your heels.

His other hobbies include boating, fishing, and following his kids’ sports

“At any given chance I like to take the boat out for family days to sheltered anchorages around Broadwater or go offshore for deep sea sports fishing and on weekends support my kids sports

“When on the water you can let the worries of the world pass you by.”
